Step-By-Step Instructions To Manually Calibrate The Zebra ZT211
To manually calibrate your Zebra ZT211 printer, follow these steps:
Manual Calibration Procedure
- Press and hold the PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
- The PAUSE light will blink yellow.
- Open the printhead assembly by rotating the printhead lever upward.
- Extend approximately 150 mm (6 inches) of media out of the printer.
- Remove the exposed labels, leaving only the liner.
- Pull the media back into the printer so that only the backing is between the media sensors.
- Move the ribbon (if used) to the right, away from the sensors.
- Close the printhead assembly.
- Press the PAUSE button to begin calibration.
- The PAUSE light will turn off, and the SUPPLIES light will flash yellow.
- The process is complete when the SUPPLIES light turns off and the PAUSE light turns yellow.
- Open the printhead assembly again.
- Reload the ribbon (if used) by moving it to the left and straightening it.
- Turn the ribbon take-up spindle to remove any slack
- Pull the media forward until a label is positioned between the sensors.
- Close the printhead assembly.
- Press the PAUSE button to complete calibration.
- The SUPPLIES light will flash yellow.
- The process is complete when the SUPPLIES light turns off and the PAUSE light turns yellow.
- Press the PAUSE button again to enable printing.
- Press the FEED button to verify that a label feeds to the correct position.
