Datamax-O’Neil Mark II I-4212e Error Code Ribbon Fault

One of the following has occurred:

1)The ribbon sensor values have changed.

2)No ribbon supply hub rotation or only intermittent movement has been detected.

Corrective Action

Try the following procedures:

1)Ensure that ribbon is correctly loaded and that the printhead assembly is locked;

2)Remove any obstruction that may inhibit ribbon hub movement;

3)Ensure that the ribbon core fits snugly on the ribbon supply hub;

4)Ensure that the ribbon and label combination is not slipping;
