by Timmy Thermal
Did you hear? Datamax-O’Neil is set to launch their newest thermal label printer, the H8308p PCL. It will be unveiled at the PACK EXPO International next week in Chicago. Pretty exciting news, that’s for sure. Not sure if you are planning on attending but I certainly wouldn’t miss it. As a thermal printer, it’s my technology World Series. There I go again getting off track. Anyway, back to the news.
I will let you in on some of the details of Datamax’s newest thermal label printer. The H8308p innovative and rugged design incorporates the top aspects of both Datamax’s H-Class and Performance Series thermal printer lines. It is ideal for high-volume printing in manufacturing, warehouse, transportation and high resolution labeling.
Like a laser printer, the H8308p can provide a wide range of data, but has the advantage over laser of increased efficiency and versatility. The H8308p is compatible with the PCL (Printer Command Language) standard for interacting with enterprise software and databases. Plus, its size; it boasts an impressive media width of 9”/222.86 mm and print length of 99”/2515 mm. Now that is impressive.
See you at the show!
