If you feel like the W1110 is missing a little extra something, you might be looking for the more feature-filled E-Class Mark III desktop printer. First of all, there is an optional upgrade option for those that are looking for thermal transfer printing on top of direct thermal. It prints faster than the W1110 with speeds up to 6 inches per second and comes in four different models: Basic, Advanced, Professional and Professional+. While the W1110 prints at 300dpi standard, the E-Class Mark III prints at 203dpi standard with 300dpi printhead optional upgrade. Differences in the four models, comes down to their connectivity options. The Basic model includes a serial RS232 port and a USB 2.0 port.
