July 30, 2014 – Hewlett-Packard Chairman Resigns
News has reported that Hewlett-Packard’s interim chairman, Ralph Whitworth has recently resigned from the company’s board to tend to his personal health issues. There is currently no replacement for Whitworth, but HP will be discussing a new chairman at their next meeting. Chairman Ralph Whitworth was appointed in April 2013 after Ray Leigh stepped down from his post.
At the time that Ray Leigh left his seat as chairman, John Hammergren and G. Kennedy Thompson were also reported to be leaving the board. HP will have fresh new faces on their board soon to come as the company moves forward.
