August 7, 2014 – Motorola’s Upcoming Pocket Scanner For Hospitals

Hospitals will be seeing new barcode technology very soon. At the end of last month Motorola Solutions, Inc. announced a new handheld bluetooth scanner for use in hospitals. This new scanner, called the Symbol CS4070-HC can limit lights and sounds as to not bother patients on night shifts. Its advanced engine can scan displays on many surfaces, Look out for the new product.

This technologically advanced bar code scanner can be used with disinfectant, IP52 sealing and a hygienic plastic housing that can easily be wiped down with disinfectant, so to lessen the spread of viruses and bacteria among nurses and patients.
