Last April, Printronix announced that their T5e line of printers had met end of service life and therefore would no longer provide spare parts, repair services, maintenance contracts or technical support for those printers. At the time, Printronix suggested the following upgrade paths:

Printronix T5rES
Printronix T4M
Printronix T2N

The new T5000r ES offers these advantages over the T5000e:

In other Printronix news, the P5000 has also met end of service life. That means that customers with the P5000 will not be able to acquire new parts, tech support or firmware/software updates.
