1. Power off and unplug the ZT211.
2. Open the media door and remove any labels, ribbons, or media from the platen area.
3. Release the toppings: Locate the two latch levers at each end of the platen roller and unlock them.
4. Remove the old roller: Gently pull the platen roller straight out, taking care not to damage the gear sides.
5. Prep the new roller: Ensure the replacement (Zebra PN P1037974‑028) is clean and free of packaging residue.
6. Install the new roller: Align the shaft ends with the slots on the printer frame and slide it fully in.
7. Lock the latches: Push the side levers back so the roller is secured in place.
8. Re-load media/ribbon, close the door, plug in, power on, and run a test print to verify smooth feeding and printing.
