Loading Media for Peel-Off Mode
- Open the Printhead Assembly: Lift the printhead-open lever to raise the printhead.
- Feed the Media:
– Slide the media guide all the way out.
– Feed the media under the dancer assembly, through the media sensor, and under the printhead assembly.
– Slide the media back until it touches the inside back wall of the media sensor.
- Extend the Media: Pull approximately 18 inches (500 mm) of media out of the printer.
- Remove Labels: Remove and discard the labels from the exposed media, leaving just the liner.
- Feed the Liner:
– Feed the liner behind the peel assembly, ensuring the end of the liner falls outside the printer.
– If using Liner Take-Up, thread the liner into the slot below the peel assembly and under the media alignment roller.
- Close the Printhead: Rotate the printhead-open lever downward to lock the printhead in place.
- Set Peel-Off Mode: On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the settings menu and select “Peel-Off” mode.
- Close the Media Door: Ensure the media door is securely closed.
- Start Printing: Press the PAUSE button to exit pause mode and begin printing.
